DETROIT GOLF CLUB CADDIE SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

In 2001, Members of Detroit Golf Club established The Detroit Golf Club Caddie Scholarship Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charitable Private Foundation. The mission of the Detroit Golf Club Caddie Scholarship Foundation is to help our caddies to achieve their higher educational dreams.  The Detroit Golf Club Caddie Scholarship Foundation specifically benefits caddies of Detroit Golf Club. The scholarship is available whether the caddies choose higher education in Michigan, out of state, attend community college or a trade school. The current scholarship amount is a total amount of $10,000 payable at the rate of $2500 per year for 4 years. We typically have approximately 20 caddies on scholarships in higher educational institutions in any given school year between the Detroit Golf Club Caddie Scholarship Foundation and the Evans Scholars Foundation. We believe we can attract and maintain excellent caddies at Detroit Golf Club, directly benefiting the young people of the City of Detroit, through our scholarship programs.
